Saad Mohammed: could you help us with a link to supported IPA characters? I'm looking for secondary stress and other items, because comma is not working
Saad Mohammed
Cesar: Ideally, it should work with the international (standard) set of IPA characters. Can you please tell me which voice you're trying it with?

Cesar
Saad Mohammed: Mainly "Jorge - Spanish (MX)" and a little bit of "Dalia - Spanish (MX)"... every time I use a character that's not allowed, it halts preview

Hello! We've added support for IPA phonetics to fix pronunciations errors. You can access this by highlighting words and clicking the Pronunciation menu or using the Pronunciations library.

These are some tests I did about your issue, as we've the same problem in Spanish:
1) I'm using AI voices only, they're far better for us
2) I changed "-" pause to 0.01 seconds and adding it and with/out spaces between some syllables
3) in my case, last letter of previous or next word has a lot to do with accents
4) also I can alter pronunciation adding "," or "-" at the beginning or end of the word
5) I change some letters (even with the wrong orthography) to get better sound
6) I test a lot when I've question & exclamation sentences, because opening symbols aren't honored (I suppose because these aren't used in English), they're affected by the number of words in the sentence and also by pauses and "," characters
7) I think exclamation pause setting isn't honored
8) I add emphasis to some sentences by hand with negative rates and loud volume in a word-by-word basis, or syllable-by-syllable (separated by "-") basis with slow rate... my only issue is that negative values aren't saved but converted to "20" and negative sign is blocked, so I've to be pretty sure about result sound before converting, otherwise I've to fix again all "20% rates" to the negative ones, usually -10, -20 or -30% rate (I've to maintain an external notepad with this changes)
9) 94% speed work better for us in some cases, but beware to change it before you do any rate/volume fine tuning, as they're affected
10) When the case is too important or too frequent, I fix the audio with audacity after downloading
I suppose all this is a very primitive phoneme system, while they can add a full phoneme builder... If you know other "tricks", please share

Gravity - Gravitáció

Hello!
I have a problem with this word: Gravity
In my Hungarian language it should be written like this: Graviráció
So it has: a and á
But the software doesn't say "a", it only says "á"
What it says is: grÁvitÁció and not grAvitÁió
If I write it like that, it says: gAAvitáció
Can you fix it?

IPA Phonetic Notation

If we ever want to have a character speak a different language, it may be helpful to implement IPA phonetic notation into usable output.
For an example implementation, see: https://itinerarium.github.io/phoneme-synthesis/

Maybe if this is implemented, you could select the text and mark it as 'Phonetic pronunciation.' This way it's distinct from the text and is highlighted as such.
